Gimmick: Yoshito Tanaka was a breakdancer first and a wrestling referee second. He loved professional wrestling but found his other hobby to be more practical a career choice, able to balance both by being a referee for an independent promotion. He stood out as an official due to his multi-colored hair and the styles he'd wear them. After some years, however, he decided to pursue actually becoming a professional wrestler and incorporate his other hobby into his gimmick; YO! YO! Tanaka. His plentiful energy, body control and flexibility made him an immediate noteworthy junior heavyweight, with addition to the spectacle that is his breakdance entrance, he became an immediate favorite. Having started in 2017 at the age of 25, he proclaimed himself as Star★Dog; being a potential star and having to fight like a dog to become one.

Entrance Description:  Violently flashing strobe lights fill the arena at the hectic beat of "Dynamite Rave (Blue Fire Mix)" by Naoki hits. Following the drop, YO! YO! Tanaka emerges with a large amount of energy, rallying the fans as he makes his way down the aisleway, slapping hands as he quickly gets into the ring. Following the chorus, taking the centre of the ring he breaks out a breakdance routine.

MOTIVATIONS
Tanaka seeks what most who pursue wrestling seek; accomplishment. He wants to be a star in professional wrestling, wants to be a valued entertainer and wants to have a lot of fun doing it. Doesn't mean he can't get serious at times, but prefers to live in the good vibes.
